Happy Labor Day

Today is the last day of summer. Tomorrow, the kids will return to school, and nobody can wear white anymore. Amidst the leisure and the play, remember why we have this day. The workers still toil for you, even if they no longer work the 80-hour week. They still clean your floors and take your dinner orders and smile even when there is nothing to smile about. They are not beneath you. They are your equals, your peers, and your neighbors. They are your friends and your family. One day, they may even be you.
